From 10 January 2011: UK has announced a new Extended Visitor Visa for international students who want to study English course whole year. Maximum duration of the stay under “Extended Visitor Visa” is eleven (11) months. This is applicable only to the students who want to migrate to UK for English language course however other students would apply under regular Tier 4 category.
